Round 3
Round 3 of the Winter Race Series took place on Friday the 28th of November. As the Race Series’ are approaching their conclusions, we were expecting some serious racing this Round. The Junior Series (8-11 years of age) had 4 drivers this Round while the Lightweight Adult Series (12-16 years of age) had a fantastic turnout with 13 drivers competing for the top 3 spots in Round 3.
The drivers start with a 5 minute practice/qualifying session which allows them to get to know their kart as well as acclimatise to the wet conditions of the track. The results of the qualifying also sets the grid order for Heat 1, this grid order is then reversed for Heat 2, with the grid for Heat 3 being the combined total points won by the drivers through Heat 1 & 2.

We would all like to say a big thank you to all drivers who competed in Round 3, with a special thanks to the parents and supporters who created such an amazing atmosphere all evening! With only 1 Round to go, there is everything to race for in Round 4! Our next Race Series Round will be Friday the 19th of December – and spaces are filling up quickly!
