WKRKC Summer Series 2023. Round Two

Round 2 of the WKRKC saw 11 drivers competing for top spot over 3, 15 lap heats, the racing in each heat was incredibly close and well contested with drivers nose to tail for nearly every position, every lap!

Results:

1st – Jack Goring took First place on 36 points after getting two wins in his meaningful heats, making the most of his experience racing in mainland kart leagues!

2nd – Lewis Hallett came Second on 25 points after taking 2nd and 4th in his meaningful heats.

3rd – Mike Jolliffe came Third on 24 points taking a 1st and 7th in his meaningful heats, also claiming an all-important fastest lap bonus point in heat 2.

Also special mentions from this round go to Raff Mitchell, Nate Bower and Louis Thornton who are all youngsters who have completed our Junior Track Day programs as well as our Advanced Kart Schools to get them up to the standard of racing in our championship!

Round 3 will be on the 9th of June running on the reverse track layout, with a 5:30pm arrival make sure to book early to avoid missing out as these events are getting popular!

Moke managing to take the lead overall, but with 4 round left to go and one dropped round to take into consideration, everything could still change!
